Bar/Bat
Mitzvah Planning Advice
When planning music
or entertainment for a Bar or Bat Mitzvah, here are some questions to
consider:
- Will there be a theme for the
Bar/Bat Mitzvah?
- Do you want a band or a disc
jockey or both?
- Do you want dancing music,
background music, or both?
- Do you want a lot of interaction
including games, dance contests, dance instruction, etc.?
- Do you want non-musical entertainment
such as a caricaturist, mime, magician, etc.?
- How long is the Bar/Bat Mitzvah
celebration going to be?
- Are you going to have a cocktail
hour? If so, is entertainment required?
- Will there be a candle lighting?
Do you want general background music or to select a special song for
each person (or group) who will light a candle?
Our event coordinators can present
you with entertainment options that meet your requirements. We can provide
a customized videotape or audiotape presentation to you of the various
possibilities available. References of specific performers are available
upon request.
Once you make a decision, we
will send a contract outlining all of the pertinent information related
to the event -- For example: the performer(s), the location, the hours
of the event, the number of breaks for the talent (if any), the dress,
the payment schedule, and specific requirements (i.e., staging, sound,
or lighting, for example).
Entertainment is an important
part of your event. By answering the questions above, you will be on your
way to selecting the perfect entertainment. When you work with MSE Productions
we guarantee that what you envision, we orchestrate.
